All the decisions we make here and now directly determine our future. This also applies to the choice of materials we use for our collections. Our aim is to create garments that will stay with you for a long time, that allow you to create a new look again and again while remaining pure and expressive. That is why we are increasingly focusing on durable and resource-conserving fabrics and continuously increasing the proportion of natural or recycled fibres.
More than half of our collections are already made from sustainable materials. You can find products with a particularly high proportion of sustainable materials in the Be mindful category. We are on the right track and will continue to do so. Always with the aim of creating the best product with the best properties for you.
We prefer to use high-quality fibres, such as organic cotton, that are kind to people and the planet. Produced without toxic chemicals and genetic engineering, using as little water as possible. In addition to organic cotton, we use BCI cotton in our knitwear products to support cotton farms that produce with fewer chemicals and use less water.
TENCEL™ Lyocell consists of wood pulp from sustainable forestry and cotton waste. Water and solvents are almost completely reused in the environmentally friendly manufacturing process. The closed cycle makes the material particularly sustainable - and we particularly like using it.
We use ECOVERO™ viscose, which is also made from sustainably grown wood, for our trousers and accessories, for example. The highest environmental standards apply to its production: compared to conventional viscose, it causes 50 per cent fewer emissions and water pollution. The material is also certified with the EU Ecolabel.
The use of recycled cotton avoids waste and saves energy and water. At the same time, the pleasant wearing properties of cotton are retained.
For recycled polyester, we use raw materials that are already in the cycle: The majority of the fibres come from PET bottles. This means that less plastic ends up in the bin - and we conserve natural resources.
Polyamide makes our textiles, such as jersey tops, particularly durable and stretchy. As the material pollutes the environment when it is disposed of, we use recycled polyamide.
Down and feathers are among nature's most valuable and long-lasting gifts. We recycle down and feathers as natural filling material. This allows us to utilise existing resources instead of creating new ones.
